Floresville FFA trains several CDE Teams in the spring semester. The teams have begun to be very successful and competitive over the last few years. Floresville’s four teams competed at various locations in various competitions. These teams travel many miles and put in many hours of work to be successful. The judging teams consist of Livestock, Floriculture, Horse, and Poultry. We are very excited to start the new year in the spring and hope to have a promising year. In 2005, our Livestock team won San Antonio and the team has qualified for the state contest 5 out of the last 7 years. The livestock team was 3rd best in the state in 2003, and 6th best in 2008. The horse judging team has qualified for the state contest for three years with the team placing 6th at the state contest in 2005.
